I am a creative and flexible tutor who knows that each student has their own strengths, weaknesses, and individual needs. My number one concern is finding the best way to suit those needs. I am a tutor who is looking to work with students who are motivated in their learning, and I will adapt my teaching style to the needs of each person I work with. My goal is to have each student I work with continually improve. I like to connect with each student personally while keeping the learning experience fun, which is a key component in the development of the passion for learning. Most importantly, I try to create confidence in my students, allowing them to use their own capabilities to learn as I provide the encouragement and support that they need along the way.I am a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences: Child Development, and hold a master's degree from Grand Canyon University in Curriculum and Instruction: Elementary Reading. I have worked with students for the past eight years, both in the classroom and through tutoring. I have taught elementary students in the classroom, and have tutored both middle school and elementary students.When I'm not teaching, I enjoy listening to music and reading.
